Performing
All of our dancers here at DreamMakers will have the opportunity to perform in our spring recital. We were incredibly thankful and fortunate to perform our first annual at The Peebles Theater at CNU Ferguson Center for the Arts in Newport News, VA.
FOR YEAR TWO, we will be performing at the new Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall: Glenn Close Theater at William & Mary: June 20th-21st, 2025.
With the recital, each class or Company will have a certain number of pieces that will go into the show. We will begin working on choreography after the winter holiday. Costume statements will go home in the fall with a final payment due before we break for the holidays. In that statement, there will be additional fees to go along with the costumes (commemorating recital t-shirt, recording of the performance, digital link to recital music, etc.).
Aside from our spring recital, we are hopeful in exploring more performance possibilities, such as a studio wide holiday gala performance. Our Company members are able to perform in an annual holiday parade and Conservatory Ensemble performs in a choreography showcase.
